Hey team at CYNJ, I’ve really been enjoying listening over the past few days. I love classic rock and your mix is perfect. Unlike rock 101 which seems to play Journey, Elton John, and Billy Joel etc. on repeat, CYNY has a way more diverse playlist to my ear – I’ve actually discovered artists I haven’t heard of. I really appreciate the focus on Canadian artists (more Rush!) as well. As a suggestion, I’d be interested in more first nations music, for example the N’quatqua band station, 97.5, plays traditional drumming and singing every half hour or so which would be great to have here too. Are you planning on adding any talk portion as well or other scheduled shows? Whatever happens please keep up the great diverse programming. Your loyal listener, Arthur
