Today is our VERY first episode of Good Medicine, and we are honoured to have Canada’s first female Indigenous psychiatrist, with over 20 years’ clinical experience working with Indigenous people in both rural and urban settings, and FNHAs new Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Nel Wiemam. In this episode Dr. Wieman speaks to why she was drawn to this line of work, her goals for this portion of her medical career, and the importance of making healthier choices like traditional food.
