Wildfires have now prompted a provincial state of emergency.
As of 1 pm yesterday, approximately 30,000 people are under evacuation orders and 36,000 under alerts across B.C.
Those come in part from the blazes raging in the Okanagan.
A section north of Prince George has been updated to an order due to the over 4,300-hectare Great Beaver Lake blaze.
Though many orders throughout the north have been downgraded to alerts or rescinded entirely.
Evacuees who require assistance can ask their local authority for instruction on registering for Emergency Support Services.
