Currently on Summer break from the House of Commons, Skeena Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach is going on tour.
Bachrach will be visiting over a dozen communities in his riding and is hoping to hear from rural constituents in person about what they need.
However, Bachrach will also be using the tour as a chance to discuss a new rural agenda to recognize remote communities and inform quality infrastructure and services.
Kicking off this week, Bachrach visited Kitkatla and Oona River and will be making his way east to Houston for a community barbeque on July 5 at noon.
He’ll then follow the trail with barbeques in Burns Lake, Fort St. James, and Fraser Lake in consecutive days.
That’s just the first leg of the tour to cover the seventh largest federal riding, which is roughly the size of Poland.
