Aspiring First Nations photographers and carvers from across BC are being called on to submit their work to the First Nations Health Authority.
Submitted photos will be reviewed by a panel, with a number being choosen to display in their buildings and publications.
Photos should showcase and celebrate the people and cultures of BC’s many First Nations communities.
Those whose photos are choosen will receive a $100 award for each selected, with the possibility of multiple photos from one artist being choosen.
Carvers are also being sought to create regional works for display in the new FNHA building being constructed near North Vancouver.
Five carvings will be selected, one from each region, with a commissionable value for each set at $12,500.
