There are still three fires of note listed by the BC Wildfire Service, all burning within the Prince George Fire Centre.
While it hasn’t grown since yesterday, the Boundary Lake fire near the Alberta border remains the largest at 5,900 hectares.
It has both evacuation alerts and orders in place for parts of the Boundary and Goodlow areas, east of Fort St John.
That blaze has also prompted an evacuation alert from the Doig River First Nation.
Another pair of alerts and orders have been issued for the Red Creek fire, covering 2,800 hectares along Highway 97, just north of Charlie Lake.
And the Teare Creek wildfire, just east of McBride, is still listed as a fire of note, but is now being held, according to the Wildfire Service.
