Over the weekend, the BC Liberal Party decided to the begin the process of changing their name.
Over 800 attended the party’s leadership convention last weekend, where they voted on whether or not they would look to change their name.
The party is going to be starting a wider consultation process over the next few months before holding a vote for the entire party before the end of the year.
Kevin Falcon, the party leader, will also be creating a name change committee with a mandate to set the final timelines and consultation process.
